What happens to the corners at a custom angle?
Rotating by anything other than 90°/180° leaves small gaps at the
corners of the new bounding box. For PNG and WebP these stay
transparent; for JPG (which has no transparency) they’re filled
with white.
Does rotating reduce image quality?
90° and 180° rotations are effectively lossless. Custom angles involve a small amount of resampling, same as any image editor.
